The Jazz in the Park competition concluded its third day of operation on Sunday, September 20, with the announcement of winners during a ceremony. Central Park in Cluj-Napoca hosted three finalist projects in the competition: Faust x Live Band from Romania, which combines hip-hop with live improvisation; Miss C-Line from Switzerland, offering neo-soul, jazz, hip-hop and classical influences; and Noisecript from Poland, which brings together jazz, electronics and improvisation.

The 2026 edition attracted consistent international participation, with 306 projects entered from 50 countries. Artists who qualified for the final phase presented diverse styles and musical formulas, from improvisation and contemporary composition to broken beat and afrobeat.

The premiere evening also included a concert by the Italian band JEMMA, which won the grand prize of previous editions and returned to Cluj as a special guest. The day's program offered other activities: Jazz Talks sessions, music lessons, children's activities and the Start a Band by Music Hub project. Access to the event was free.
