The new kindergarten in the Iris neighborhood of Cluj-Napoca has finished its construction work. The announcement was made by the contractor on September 15, 2026, after technical acceptance was completed.

The building is located near Terapia, in a residential complex area. With a capacity of 50 children organized into 3 groups, the kindergarten has modern spaces and quality equipment. The construction occupies 630 square meters on a plot of approximately 1,500 square meters.

Facilities include 12 kW photovoltaic panels, VRF air conditioning, heat pumps, underfloor heating, air treatment unit with heat recovery, video cameras and access control system. The building is fully finished, with tiles, ceramics, PVC flooring, interior doors and bathrooms equipped with sanitary fixtures. On the ground floor are the rooms for children, and on the upper floor are the administrative spaces.

The kindergarten was built by Sares SA, part of Elite Grup, exclusively with private funds. The contractor will donate it to the Cluj-Napoca City Hall, which will transform it into a public kindergarten. The total investment, which covers construction, land, utilities and connections, amounts to 1.5 million euros.
