Vibe publishes small daily newspapers of good news from Romanian cities, written for people who grew up there and now live somewhere else. One edition per city, every morning, in Romanian and English. Free to read, paid for by advertising.

How an edition is made

Vibe is produced by software, and we would rather say so plainly. Each night it reads the day's reporting from local publishers in and around the city, together with wider news indexes (GDELT and Google News). An AI model chooses the stories that fit the paper, a second check removes anything that does not, and the model writes each headline and summary in its own words — in Romanian first, then translated into English.

The text and the illustrations are generated with artificial intelligence. The engravings are drawn for the paper by an image model; they depict the subject of a story, not the actual people or places in it. No person edits an edition before it is published.

Editorial rules

  • Good news only. Vibe leaves out stories about death, accidents, crime, war, disasters, abuse, partisan political fights, scandal and corruption. Not because they do not matter, but because other papers already cover them and this one exists to show what is going right.
  • Every story is credited. Each item names the outlet that reported it and links to the original article. Vibe summarises; it does not republish anyone's article.
  • Advertising does not choose stories. Ads are labelled, and the software that selects stories has no knowledge of them. There is no paid or sponsored content.

Mistakes and requests

Software gets things wrong. If a summary is inaccurate, an illustration is misleading, or you are a publisher who wants a story credited differently or removed, write to info@gethomefeed.com and we will correct or remove it.
