On September 1, 2026, the threshold of 2,500 euros was reached in the prize fund for Cluj culture, generated by the sale of Doza de Cultură, a dessert that represents a national premiere.

Doza de Cultură is a dessert where 10% of sales feed a fund dedicated exclusively to local culture. The money goes back to the accounts of Daisler Association, the entity that launched and manages the project. These funds will be awarded in full as a prize to a local cultural operator designated by a jury based on application.

The project, implemented in partnership with the Cluj Cultural Center and HORECA Cluj Employers Association, was recognized as a national premiere by the Minister of Culture, Demeter András István. The Minister appreciated the mechanism through which the public, the HoReCa environment, and the cultural sector are brought to the same table, transforming a daily choice into a concrete form of participation in the city's cultural life.

Doza de Cultură is a biscuit salami with walnuts, hazelnuts, and salted caramel, a recipe chosen by the HORECA Cluj association and refined in the laboratories of Pralina Pastry Shops. The dish was chosen because of its ease of preparation, long shelf life, and easy access to ingredients. The recipe was made freely available to each interested gastronomic operator, with each establishment having the freedom to add new elements and experiment with presentation form.

The public can order Doza de Cultură in various combinations, such as the Cheesecake version, alongside ice cream or raspberry sorbet, with coconut walnut sauce or with baked apples, even in the form of Tiramisu in a Jar.
