Transylvania International Theater Festival (FITT) 2026 will bring together artists from Croatia, Serbia, South Korea, Czech Republic and Spain, alongside Romanian productions, exhibitions, poetry recitals and performances that will take place over four days in Cluj-Napoca.

This year's edition has a special dimension through the partnership with RoNeuro Institute, which brings the perspective of neurosciences in connection with art. The concept proposes a meeting between medical research and artistic creation, exploring how brain processes such as emotion, memory, empathy and imagination manifest through scenic expression.

The program opens on September 17 with the performance "Waiting for Ulysses" from Nottara Theater, followed by the official opening with "Death at the Revue Theater" from Stela Popescu Theater, in collaboration with the Students' Culture House "Dumitru Fărcaș". The following days will bring international and local productions, as well as performances and competitions dedicated to memory and creativity.

The presence of RoNeuro Institute reflects a vision that health goes beyond the absence of disease and includes the ability to feel and connect with others' stories through art. The partnership institutionalizes the idea that culture is an essential resource for human development, and art and medicine meet in the same purpose: care for humanity.
