Solutions for Mănăștur neighborhood: bike parking and scooter zones
At the meeting at "La Terenuri" sports base, residents requested the separation of scooter zones from playgrounds and repairs to damaged stairs and alleys.

Deputy Mayor Dan Tarcea met on Wednesday with residents of the Mănăștur neighborhood at the "La Terenuri" sports base to identify solutions to problems reported by Cluj residents. Topics discussed included garbage collection, placement of utility points and rehabilitation of damaged stairs and alleys.
Residents requested the separation of scooter zones from playgrounds, functioning of surveillance cameras, increased security and compliance with the smoking ban at the sports base. The accessibility ramp for people with disabilities on Mehedinți Street, the clearing of the rainwater channel on Mărișel Street and the situation of garages on Ciucaș and Meziad Streets were also addressed.
On the list were also the rehabilitation of "Ion Creangă" School and the development of new bike parking in the area. Tarcea also discussed the issue of begging, urging residents to support organizations that provide food and assistance, rather than giving money on the street.
