Cluj Airport has once again exceeded the 3 million passenger threshold
On Monday, October 19, starting at 9:15 AM, in the VIP Lounge of the Arrivals Terminal, the institution marks this traffic level for the fourth year in a row.

The "Avram Iancu" International Airport in Cluj-Napoca will mark on Monday, October 19, starting at 9:15 AM, in the VIP Lounge of the Arrivals Terminal, reaching the threshold of 3 million passengers in a calendar year, for the fourth consecutive year. The event is organized by the airport in partnership with Cluj County Council.
Airport representatives claim this is a national premiere for a regional airport in Romania, with Cluj being the first to exceed this threshold four years in a row.
In 2025, the 3,000,000th passenger was celebrated on November 6, and the year ended with record traffic of over 3.58 million passengers. In 2024, the threshold was reached on November 25.
For a Cluj resident who has moved abroad, the figures show constant growth in the air connections of their hometown, with traffic thresholds being reached earlier each year.
