The Cojocna community, together with the Cojocna Municipal Administration, Cojocna Local Council and Flori de Sare Cojocna Association, organizes the Autumn Festival in Cluj-Napoca, during October 3-4. The event takes place in the Romulus Vuia National Ethnographic Park, between 10:00 and 18:00, among the peasant houses and old farms of the park.

The stands bring traditional seasonal products: silvoiță, warm pălănețe, homemade pies, fruits and vegetables, meat preparations, dairy products, bee honey, baked goods and pickles, all prepared according to local recipes.

Organizers say the festival is designed for the whole family, from grandparents to children, and offers visitors the opportunity to stock up for winter directly from producers, in an atmosphere specific to the Transylvanian autumn season.

For a Clujean who has left the country, the event can bring back memories of the tastes and traditions of childhood related to the autumn season in Transylvania.
