Universitatea Cluj footballer Dan Nistor put sports aside and visited the "Octavian Goga" Gymnasium School in Cluj-Napoca to meet with students. The competitive break during that period gave him the opportunity to spend time with his team's younger supporters.

The 38-year-old midfielder was received with enthusiasm by the children, who asked numerous questions about his career, life as a footballer and experiences on the field. Nistor noted that the children's questions were very intelligent and that he was surprised by their seriousness. After the discussions, one of the long-awaited moments followed: autographs and photos with the footballer.

The students' reaction deeply moved Nistor. The footballer admitted that he did not expect so much enthusiasm and that the moment impressed him to tears. "I didn't think so many children love me, that I'm so appreciated here. I almost cried," he said, adding that he is happy that he means something to them.

Nistor also spoke about the importance of bringing young people closer to sports and, especially, to football. According to him, the fact that many of the children end up at Universitatea Cluj Academy represents an important sign for the future. The meeting showed that a footballer's impact is not measured only in goals and results, but also in the inspiration they can offer to future generations.
