The Faculty of Food Science and Technology at USAMV Cluj is preparing Agri-Food Week 2026, an event dedicated to agriculture, food, traditions and sustainability, with the participation of local producers, researchers and students. The event takes place between September 22-26.

The main attraction for the general public will be the exhibition with sale of local products, scheduled between September 24-26, between 10 and 18, on the square in front of Aula Magna "Mihai Șerban". Cluj residents will be able to buy pickles, zacusca, jams, compotes, syrups, honey from Apoldu de Sus, cheeses, vegetables, aromatic plants in pots, honey cake, Kurtos Kalacs and stone-baked pastries. The fair will also feature handicraft products, as well as wines produced at USAMV's Vinea Apoldia Maior station.

On Friday, September 25, the USAMV campus will host the Researchers' Night between 16 and 22, with experiments, demonstrations, games and technology testing. Visitors will be able to discuss with researchers about their activities and professions of the future. From 20:00 an open-air cinema screening with the film "Tomorrowland", a science fiction production with themes about science, discovery and imagining the future.

On the same day, on the "Horia Demian" Sports Hall square, between 13 and 24, 21 workshops, demonstrations and thematic exhibitions of science and technology will be presented, supported by students, professors and researchers.
