Admission of international candidates at UMF "Iuliu Hațieganu" in Cluj-Napoca concluded with 3,359 registrations for the 655 available places. Candidates come from 85 countries and applied for Medicine, Dental Medicine and Pharmacy programs taught in English and French.

The highest competition was recorded for the French-language Dental Medicine program, where 1,065 applications were submitted for only 75 places, representing 14.2 candidates per place. The Medicine program in English attracted 691 candidates competing for 200 places. For Pharmacy in French, 154 applications were registered for 80 available places.

The university currently brings together over 3,500 international students from 65 countries on six continents. According to the institution's representatives, UMF Cluj has the largest number of foreign students among universities in Romania. Admission to programs taught in Romanian concluded in the July session, with all places occupied, which is why an admission session was not organized in the fall for these programs.
