The Târgu Mureș State Philharmonic will hold a concert on November 11 at the "Liszt Ferenc" Academy of Music in Budapest, alongside pianist Bogányi Gergely. The event is organized together with the Iunona Association and continues the series of international appearances by the orchestra, following concerts in Vienna in 2024 and Berlin in 2025.

One day earlier, on November 10, a diplomatic event will take place at the headquarters of the Romanian Embassy in Budapest, where ambassadors and representatives from public, cultural and economic circles are expected. On this occasion, the cultural and tourist offer of Mureș County will be presented, as well as local gastronomy, and a photography exhibition dedicated to tourist attractions in the county can be visited in the embassy garden.

On the morning of November 11, a business meeting organized together with the Romanian Embassy and the Iunona Association will take place, where 30-40 businesspeople from Romania and Hungary are expected, interested in collaborations in construction, logistics, tourism, food industry and agriculture.

The hall of the Academy of Music in Budapest, inaugurated in 1907, is associated with the name of composer Béla Bartók, who performed there at its opening. The organizers noted the architectural similarities between this building and the Palace of Culture in Târgu Mureș, both being representative of the Secession style.

For those from Târgu Mureș living abroad, the event offers the opportunity to see the city's orchestra on an important international stage, alongside the promotion of local culture and economy in Hungary.
