White Night of Galleries reaches its 11th edition in Târgu Mureș on October 2, 2026, between 6:00 PM and 11:45 PM. Art galleries and independent spaces in the city will host exhibitions, meetings and events dedicated to local contemporary art.

The event is organized by the K'ARTE Association, with contributions from Art Nouveau – UAP, Camera K'ARTE, Fundația Bernády György and Antigalerie Cactus. Initiated in 2007 in Bucharest by Ephemair Association, White Night of Galleries has since expanded to several cities across the country.

The program includes the Contactus painting exhibition at Art Nouveau – UAP Gallery, a sculpture exhibition by Gyarmathy János at Mini Art Nouveau, Mircea Cantor's video-photo installation at Camera K'ARTE, exhibitions by artists Lőrincz Kinga and Kelemen Borostyán, as well as photographs by Bikfalvi Zsolt at Casa Bernády. Antigalerie Cactus presents Diana Gherendi's installation – Tracking Absence, and at 112 Coffeehouse there will be a painting exhibition. At Turnul Blănarilor in Târgu Mureș Citadel there will be exhibitions and workshops with Gyarmathy János and Mana Bucur, the latter being present. Entry is free at all locations.

For someone who has left Târgu Mureș, the event brings back attention to the city's contemporary art scene and the cultural spaces that support it year after year.
