A former CFR Cluj player returned to Romania as a coach, with big plans
The Portuguese played at CFR Cluj between 2014 and 2016, and now, at 40 years old, coaches Viitorul Cluj, a team from the third league, dreaming of reaching the Champions League one day.

Bruno Guima, former striker of CFR Cluj in the period 2014-2016, a team with which he finished third in 2015, retired from football at 30 years old due to injuries and chose the coaching path. A decade after ending his playing career, the Portuguese, now 40 years old, coaches Viitorul Cluj, a team from the third league.
In an interview for Prima Sport, Guima said he always felt different from other players in the way he sees football and that, although he wasn't sure he would become a coach, he knew his future was tied to this sport. He set out to climb gradually in the hierarchy of football, from the third league to the second league and then the first league, confessing that his ultimate dream is to coach in the Champions League. Guima said that abroad, he would like to coach Fiorentina or Newcastle, teams whose style he considers fits with his own.
Throughout his coaching career, Guima has also coached the teams Romariz, Nogueirense and Valecambrense, all from lower leagues in Portugal.
