Emil Boc clarified that discussions took place about developing the Romanian-Hungarian Business Forum, about high-speed trains on the Budapest–Bucharest route, and about reopening the Cluj-Napoca–Budapest airline.

The mayor emphasized that diversity represents a resource and an important part of Cluj's identity, and the Hungarian community has an essential contribution to the city's cultural, academic, economic, and social life. Boc also recalled the sister city partnership between Cluj-Napoca and the city of Pécs, based on cultural and institutional ties.
