The project "Cluj Smart County – Integrated Digital Ecosystem" has a value of approximately 30 million lei and will be submitted for financing through the North-West Regional Program 2021–2027. The planned external financing is over 5.6 million euros.
Objectives include development of a regional cloud platform, an electronic services portal for citizens and business environment, an advanced electronic registry, use of electronic signatures and electronic archiving systems. Standardized applications will be available for taxes and local fees, urban planning, agricultural registry, heritage and petitions, with a GIS component.
Cybersecurity will be ensured through data hosting in the North-West Regional Data Center infrastructure, administered by the Special Telecommunications Service.
