Compact band performed Thursday evening at Cinema-Theater "Florin Piersic" in Cluj-Napoca, an anniversary concert dedicated to 50 years of activity. On stage were Costi Cămărășan, Adrian Ordean, Adrian Mariaș, Marius Macavei, Willy Gorgan and Robert Risteiu, who played well-known songs such as "Fata din vis" and "Cântec pentru prieteni".

The concert included moments dedicated to former band members who have passed away, including Teo Peter, who died in an accident in 2004, and Leo Iorga, who passed away in 2019. Costi Cămărășan said that the evening was dedicated to all those who sang in Compact and are no longer with us.

Band members received honorary awards from Cluj County Council, presented by vice-president Vakar Istvan, for their contribution to cultural life and Romanian rock. The event opened with performances by young people from Rock Academy, the music school founded by Cămărășan, and the evening concluded with the release of a double anniversary album with songs signed by Ordean and Cămărășan.

Compact band was founded in 1977 in Cluj-Napoca by Costi Cămărășan and Constantin "Teo" Peter. For those who left Cluj, the concert was a reminder of the melodies that accompanied childhood or youth spent in the city, sung now, half a century later, right where the story began.
