How much does it cost and how long does it take to sell an apartment in Cluj-Napoca
The average price reached 2,930 euros per square meter in September 2026, 2.8% more than in August, and a home stays on the market for an average of 50 days.

Cluj-Napoca remains the city with the most expensive apartments in Romania, with prices approximately 32% higher than in Bucharest, according to a real estate platform cited by Monitorul de Cluj. The national average is 1,972 euros per square meter, while in the Capital the average price is 2,214 euros.
In Cluj-Napoca, selling an apartment takes an average of 50 days, less than in Iași (53 days) and Sibiu (52 days), but much more than in Timișoara, where a home sells in approximately 31 days, at an average price of 1,963 euros per square meter.
In the central area of the city, the average price per square meter is close to the 4,000 euros threshold, 35% above Cluj's average. Next are the Făget district, 28% above average, and Andrei Mureșanu, 25% above average.
Regarding rents, the trend is reversed: the average price of an apartment for rent fell 3.9% in September compared to August, reaching 566 euros per month.
