On the A1 Lugoj-Deva Motorway, the longest viaduct of the section has reached the girder mounting phase. The structure, located at km 52+150, crosses the Lugoj-Ilia railway and has a length of approximately 1,085 meters with 25 spans, exceeding 12 meters in the highest area. To date, 48 girders have been mounted on the first six spans. Concurrently, the girder mounting work began at the viaduct between the two tunnels, which is approximately 122 meters long.

On the same motorway, the viaduct in the Margina area, located at kilometer 48+165, has completed the mounting of its 64 girders. It has a length of approximately 350 meters and eight spans. On the construction site, a girder factory and an asphalt station have been set up, where over 440 girders will be produced for bridges, overpasses and viaducts.

The Margina-Holdea section has exceeded the 75 percent execution threshold and has a length of approximately 13.5 kilometers. The most difficult stage was completed on September 18, 2026, when the builders completed the excavation and fully pierced the Holdea Tunnel galleries. The two galleries of the large tunnel are 1,985 meters and 1,825 meters respectively, being the longest motorway tunnels built to date in Romania. Together, the four galleries of the tunnels total over 4.5 kilometers. The completion of the Margina-Holdea section is estimated for May 2027.

On the Transilvania Motorway, three other viaducts are under construction at Nădășelu and Topa Mică in Cluj County and Suplacu de Barcău in Bihor County. The Nădășelu Viaduct, approximately 1.2 kilometers long, crosses an area with unstable terrain and passes above the local cemetery.
