The Cluj Innovation and Experiment Fund (FIX Cluj) has reached its fourth edition and invites young people from Cluj aged between 16 and 26 years to register their projects. The program is aimed at those who live, study, or work in Cluj-Napoca and have ideas with impact on the community.

Selected teams can benefit from funding of up to 50,000 euros to develop their proposed solutions. Participants can organize in groups of two to five members. The program does not require ideas to be already developed in detail; for those who do not have a clear direction, the organizers have prepared six challenge areas inspired by the needs and opportunities of the Cluj community.

This year brings a new stage in the process. Registered teams will present their projects through an online campaign and will be able to attract support from the Cluj community.

Mayor Emil Boc encouraged youth participation, emphasizing that the program is not limited to funding, but represents confidence in young people and the freedom to experiment. He conveyed that Cluj needs the ideas of young people to improve its community.
