Mureș County participates for the first time in EXPO REAL Munich, one of the most important international fairs dedicated to investment, real estate development and infrastructure. The Mureș delegation will be present between October 5 and 7, 2026 and will include representatives from administration, academia, business and tourism.

Participation takes place under the common identity "Why Mureș", and the team will present international investors with an investment guide highlighting the county's strengths, already won projects, those under implementation and those planned.

Andrei Gusan, president of the Mureș branch of the Romanian Business Leaders Foundation, explained that the message conveyed by the business community is that in the county there is a community working together – Mureș County Council, Târgu Mureș City Hall, UMFST, Visit Mureș, Romanian Business Leaders Foundation and other institutional partners, united in the Advisory Council for business and education at the city level. The stated goal is to attract major investments in production, but also to highlight the ecosystem built around the university.

The Advisory Council intends to participate in other exhibitions, and its online platform will remain open for those interested in learning how they can invest in the county.

For those who have left Mureș, this presence at a major international fair shows an institutional movement to attract investment and publicly leverage the reputation of the university and the local business community.
