The stadium where Dinamo and FCSB play received major changes
National Arena will host the UEFA Europa League final in 2028, and the City Hall and Sector 2 City Hall will rehabilitate the park around the stadium.

The stadium where Dinamo and FCSB compete this Superligă season will undergo several changes in order to host the UEFA Europa League final in 2028, an event previously hosted here in 2012, when Atletico Madrid defeated Athletic Bilbao 3-0.
The Municipality of Bucharest and the Sector 2 Municipality voted Wednesday, in the General Council session, a collaboration protocol for the rehabilitation of green space and alleys around National Arena. City Hall will provide the necessary documents and studies, while Sector 2 will handle the actual work - plantings, redone alleys, new street furniture, repairs to the irrigation system and fence, as well as cleaning and snow removal.
Work on the stadium includes repairs to the structure and roof, replacement of the LED screens of the scoreboard and modernization of equipment for broadcasting and TV transmission.
The stadium's grass was completely changed this fall, after four months of non-sports events, installing 8,500 square meters of hybrid grass surface, with costs of 2 million lei borne by organizers. The stadium can be rented for festivals and concerts for amounts between 76,000 and 250,000 euros, and for domestic football matches for 25,000 euros, while annual maintenance costs 30 million lei from the local budget.
